Potanin sells “Cinema Park” Network

The buyer is 19-year old student of Moscow State University of International Relations Said Kerimov.

Vladimir Potanin has signed an agreement on selling his network of cinemas which is called “Cinema Park”. This network is a part of his structure called “Interros”. The information has been officially provided by “Vedomosti” with the reference to a source that is close to both parties of the deal. The agreement has already been signed and the deal will be completed in the nearest future. The sum of this purchase was not officially announced. However the source tells that Potanin wanted 400 million dollars for the [part of his business.

The future owner of “City Park” is 19-year old student of Moscow State University of International Relations Said Kerimov. He will pay with his own funds for this network as he has already turned into successful businessman.

It should be noted that “Cinema Park” network consist of 30 cinema complexes which are located in 18 different cities all over Russia. The total income of this business in 2013 has been 8.5 billion rubles. It includes income from sold tickets, commercial and selling of food and drinks.
