Popularity of Russian Resorts will grow by 50% this Year

Director of Russian Tourism Oleg Safonov reported that those operators which mainly dealt with outbound tourism have developed several new offers which include packaged tours in Krasnodar and Crimea.

“This fact will make it possible to complete governmental tasks which have been set for tourist agencies and communities in Russian federation. Russian tourists will be offered high quality services and packages which meet all world’s requirements and standards”, - said Safonov.

Such offers are available for a long time on tourist market. However they were not in high demand recently. This was due to low quality service and additional reasons.

At the same time such major operators as “Coral Travel”, “Intourist”, “Alex Tour” and others will offer packaged tours in more than 30 Russian cities.

This will make the rest of operators to react on changes in tourist field accepting new conditions and development of the market. It will also result in the fact that ruble exchange rate is rather low in comparison with dollar and euro. This is why Russian tourists do not want to spend their vacation abroad. They would rather visit Russian resorts.

According to Safonov’s forecasts the growth of demand on Russian resorts will be up to 50%.At the same time such situation will influence on decrease of outbound tourists.
