Pavlichenko wins FIL World Luge Championship
FIL World Luge Championship is finished. It took place from 14th to 15th of February in Segulda, Latvia. Russian sportsman Semen Pavlichenko has successfully one the competition showing the best result in single program.

It should be noted that this victory is the first in Russian history starting from 1981 when it was a part of USSR.

Pavlichenko showed best result after 2 attempts and was 0.071 seconds faster in comparison with his closest rival German sportsman Felix Loch. He won silver medal during this competition.
