Paris and Berlin are going to give the Eurozone a new dynamic

Germany and France have agreed to accelerate and intensify the integration processes in the Euro area and this will create a bilateral working group at the Ministerial level.

Paris and Berlin are going to give the Eurozone a new dynamic
This was announced by the two countries Finance Ministers, Wolfgang Schäuble and Bruno Le Mayor after their meeting in Berlin.

“We both know that one of the main tasks now – to make our contribution as Ministers of Finance in the development of this Europe – said Schaeuble. Before we open up broad prospects, but also serious challenges. We know that strengthening the Eurozone will be crucial”.

“For many years we are talking about what we need to move forward in the development of the Eurozone, but this process is not fast enough and hasn't gone far enough, said Le Mayor. – We want him to go faster, to move forward in a specific path”.

The working group, as noted by the Ministers, to make proposals to strengthen the monetary Union and German-French cooperation. Paris and Berlin believe that the Eurozone need to give new momentum that the economic leaders of the region and will try to do.
