Palestinians topple the Facebook app rating
Pro-Palestinian activists are angry at Facebook, because the platform censored several accounts of Palestinians. They have therefore launched a campaign calling on people to give the Facebook app a one-star review, reports NBC News.

The campaign, which is shared on Twitter and Facebook itself, among other things, calls on people to give the platform a bad review in Apple's App Store and Google's Play Store. There, users can give an app a rating of one to five stars.

That strategy seems to work. According to NBC News, the average star rating for the social network has dropped from 4 to 2.3 on the App Store and 2.4 on the Play Store. The platform would have received thousands of reviews from one star by now.

The company asked Apple to remove the reviews, but the tech giant did not agree.
