Oil production in Russia in April fell to 252 thousand barrels a day by October
The daily average oil production in Russia in April 2017 amounted to 10,995 million barrels per day, an increase of 1.6% yoy and a decrease of 252 thousand barrels compared to October 2016, which were taken as a starting point in the agreement of OPEC countries and outside the organization to reduce output, from the data of the Central dispatching Department of fuel energy complex (CDU TEK), which quotes Agency Bloomberg.

Under the Vienna agreements, Russia should in the first half of 2017 to reduce oil production by 300 thousand barrels per day — up to 10,947 million barrels (with the October level 11,247 million barrels).

Initially, the Minister of energy of Russia Alexander Novak said that the reduction in average daily oil production since January will be 50-100 thousand barrels, at the end of March — 200 thousand barrels, and in April-may the country will reach its target a decrease of 300 thousand barrels per day.

The Agency also reported that on a monthly basis, the daily level of oil production increased by 0.5%, and the average daily export of oil from Russia in the reporting month amounted to 5.97 million barrels per day, which is 7.2% more than in March.

Total production of crude oil and condensate in Russia in April amounted to 45 million tonnes.
Average daily natural gas production, according to CDU TEK, Russia in April rose by 8.7% in annual terms. Total gas production in Russia in the reporting month made up of 54.17 billion cubic meters.
