Regional government has officially announced maximum number of Ukrainian refugees that will be able to live in Nizhny Novgorod region. Local authorities are able to provide 5 160 refugees with official permission to stay in Nizhny Novgorod region in 2014. This decision has been made in accordance with Dmitry Medvedev resolution. It deals with increasing of quotas for Nizhny Novgorod region for providing refugees with permissions for part-time residence to foreigners and individuals without citizenship. The main reason for providing quota for the region is its ability to accept a limited number of people as well as provided them with necessary working places and places for living. Several programs have been already launched. All of them are aimed on creating necessary living conditions for refugees. This includes organizing places for part-time residence, special mobile groups and shortened terms for providing temporary refugee status up to three working days. Every refugee will get 900 rubles daily. These funds will be provided from the budget. This information was provided by Deputy Minister of Social Policy Sergey Rybinsky. |
