Nizhny Novgorod Region is on High Alert from 25th of December to 12th of January

High alert mode is implemented in Nizhny Novgorod region. It will last from 15th of December to 12th of January. All departments which deal with different kinds of emergency situations will also be on alert in order to prevent different disasters and other types of unpleasant situations. Such order has been recently established by the Governor of Nizhny Novgorod region.

In accordance with this order all heads of their regions and districts are recommended to prepare all available means which are used for protection and preventing emergency situations. At the same time all alert systems must be thoroughly examined and also prepared for safety and protection of population during the given period.

If emergency situation occurs, all necessary rescue measures must be taken at short notice along with all other works which are aimed on helping citizens of the region. All departments should keep people in touch with the current situation in the region using all necessary informational sources.

Such measures are taken in order to prevent all kinds of possible emergency situations which can take place during winter holidays.
