Nizhny Novgorod Police Seized 20 000 Bottles of Illegal Alcohol

Nizhny Novgorod policemen seized more than 20 thousand bottles of illegal alcohol in Avtozavodsky district. All products had necessary evidences of counterfeit. Unlicensed alcohol was introduced in 10 different sorts of scotch, vodka and other drinks of premium class.

According to information provided by Main Police Department of Nizhny Novgorod region these bottles were found on the wholesale which consisted of three huge railway containers. It was located on the territory of industrial zone. The owner of this territory is 33-year old citizen of Nizhny Novgorod who is not licensed as entrepreneur.

Criminal case has been initiated towards the owner of the wholesale. He is accused of illegal selling as well as violating copyrights ad illegal using of trademarks. All seized products have been spent for additional tests and examinations. At the same time policemen are trying to determine where illegal alcohol was produced.
