Nizhny Novgorod is in top 5 the most attractive Russian cities for summer vacation
The capital of Volga region is back in top 5 the most attractive Russian cities for tourists. At the same time Nizhny Novgorod is one of the most visited places during summer vacations. There is nothing surprising in the fact that Moscow, St. Petersburg and Kazan have taken the leading positions in this rating. Yekaterinburg, Yaroslavl, Rostov, Krasnodar, Samara and Perm are also in top 10. Such statistics has been provided by Travel.ru portal for travelers and tourists. Such rating has been made in accordance with number of rooms which were booked by Russian in different hotels all over the country. At the same time tourists who visited Nizhny Novgorod by ship were not taken into account.

“This summer Russian tourists travelled twice more around the country in comparison with 2013. The average daily spends were 3.5 thousand rubles. This rate was 20% lower for those who travelled abroad”, - say representatives of Interfax agency with the reference to the operational manager of Travel.ru Olga Favarizova.
