Regional Department of LDPR political party has arranged another picket. It was forwarded against operation of McDonald's fast-food restaurants which are operating on the territory of Nizhny Novgorod and its region. This information is available on the official website of the Regional Department of LDPR party. Activists have gathered on a local square and walked along all places where McDonald's restaurants are located. They shouted out different slogans which had the same meaning. The main idea was to encourage people stop eating in these fast-food restaurants. It is believed to be rather harmful for our health and sometimes can be even dangerous. A Member of Supreme Council of LDPR party Alexander Kurdyumov said that products which are sold in these restaurants should be prohibited and never served for children. Such food can be to the detriment of their health and result in serious diseases and health problems. At the same time Kurdyumov said that citizens will also support such picket. It is very unlikely to cause negative emotions. Small percentage of population visits McDonald’s every day. For the majority of people these restaurants are nothing more than free WC. This is rather encouraging as Russians are still able to evaluate the quality of food they consume. That is why they refuse to it this garbage. It has been already said that Russian government is planning to close all McDonald’s restaurants which operate on the territory of the country. | |
