Moscow was among the hundred most expensive cities in the world. The rating of the most expensive for living settlements made by the Agency the Economist Intelligence Unit. In 2017, the capital of Russia were finally able to enter the top 100 cities with the highest prices. Last year, Moscow went up by 15 positions. Most likely this jump is associated with the fall of the ruble and the economic crisis in the country. First place in the Economist Intelligence Unit is the 4th year in a row Singapore. Second place went to Hong Kong, and the third — Zurich. Next are Tokyo, Osaka, Seoul, Geneva, Paris, new York and Copenhagen. Cheaper to live in Nigerian Laos, Indian, Bangalore, Karachi, Pakistan and Almaty, which closes the list of the 133 settlements. The rankings of most expensive cities in the Economist Intelligence Unit experts took into account such factors as the cost of food, housing, public transport, mobile communication and utility prices. |
