On Tuesday evening, March 6, 36-year-old Meghan Markle passed a baptismal ceremony - the bride of 33-year-old Prince Harry accepted the Anglican faith. The ceremony of baptism Meghan Markle took place in the Royal Chapel, reported the Daily Mail. U.S. actress Meghan Markle has been baptized by the Archbishop of Canterbury. The 45-minute ceremony conducted by Justin Welby included full ritual, with holy water from the River Jordan. Present at the ceremony were just a few people, among them were Prince Harry, Prince Charles and Princess Camilla. After the baptism, Prince Charles and Princess Camilla had a festive dinner, where the closest members of the royal family (all in all, 18 people were present). When Markle and Harry announced their engagement last November, his office said Markle, who attended a Catholic school as a child, identified as a Protestant and would be baptized and confirmed before their marriage on May 19. To conclude a marriage with Prince Harry Meghan did not need to change faith. The actress herself made this decision. |
