Medvedev approved the plan of petrochemical industry development in Russia until 2030
Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev signed a decree which defines the basic development strategy of chemical and petrochemical complex in the period from 2016 to 2030. The main purpose stipulated in the disposal measures will be the technical re-equipment and modernization of existing and creation of new chemical and petrochemical industries.

"The implementation of the plan will contribute to reduce the dependence of the chemical complex and in General the Russian economy from the import of products of chemical and petrochemical industry, as well as the increase in domestic demand for products of chemical and petrochemical complex", — stated in the text of the document presented on the official website of the government.

The plan aims to increase domestic demand for the products of the chemical and petrochemical complex. In accordance with him for fourteen years, will carry out the modernization of existing chemical and petroleum industries, the Ministry noted.

In addition, each December the Russian government will listen to the progress report on the elimination of decommissioned chemically hazardous facilities and rehabilitation of areas affected by hazardous chemicals in the course of their activities.
