Mastercard plans to acquire CipherTrace, a company dedicated to security and fraud within the cryptocurrency world. This was announced by the US credit card company, without mentioning any financial details. Mastercard stated that the combination with CipherTrace will lead to more transparency in the cryptomarket by helping companies understand the risks of digital currencies. CipherTrace tracks more than 900 cryptocurrencies. The pay giant expects to complete the acquisition this year. | |
