Markets expect action from Macron
“Macron must act on a large scale, – said German analyst. – French problem is very serious: you can't just apply makeup on the face of the French economy. It is necessary to operate the brain and heart. Reforms are painful, and it is clear that many people in France will not welcome the reforms.”

The victory of the Macron was not a big surprise to the markets – they had taken into account the growth last week. Including – investors, in the UK,  are now more concerned about the forthcoming negotiations about the withdrawal of this country from the European Union.

“I think the next crisis, which will have to face the Eurozone or the European Union will definitely happen because of the Brexit, – said the British expert. – Of course, the victory of the Macron will encourage ardent europhiles and federalists. After all, even the Emmanuel Macron expressed a desire to ultimately strengthen the European position in the negotiations on the Brexit.

After the announcement of the voting results in France, the stock exchange in Tokyo closed higher for the key Nikkei 2.3%.
