JPMorgan develops its cryptocurrency strategy

The largest American financial holding JPMorgan took the first steps in developing its strategy in the market of crypto-currencies. As the publication Coinspot, in the corporation for this purpose the department of the cryptocurrency strategy was created, which was headed by Oliver Harris.

Previously, he managed a program of cooperation with fintech start-ups, and now he will look for and bring to the market promising crypto-exchange projects.

Harris and his department will work within the experimental block-project JPMorgan, which has been operating for two years. With the help of the blockade, the corporation is trying to solve the problems that the banking sector is facing. The result of these experiments was the creation of a payment blocking system based on the Quorum air. JPMorgan also cooperated with the Zcash cryptocurrency team and Harris will develop one of the directions of this project in cooperation with the Center for advanced technologies of the blocking bank JPMorgan.

As noted by the media, all this does not mean that the banking giant is actively engaged in operations with the cryptocurrency. While its representatives say only about the intentions to enter this market and do not exclude even the possible launch of future bitcoins in the future.
