Jose Carreras will end his World Tour on the Main Russian Stage
World’s famous legendary Spanish tenor is going to end his world tout on Kremlin’s stage in Moscow.

Visitors will be able to hear the best opera parts of his repertoire. His performance will be accompanied by "Russian Philharmonic" Moscow Symphony Orchestra under the baton of David Jimenez.

Note:

Jose Carreras was born in 1946 in the capitol of Catalonia. His first public performance took place on federal radio when he was only an 8-year old talented boy. When he was 11, he made his first record together with Mario Lanza. The overall discography includes more than 150 records which are sold all over the world.

In 1987 the singer was diagnosed with acute leukemia. Carreras had nothing to do but to cancel all his concerts and do not perform for more than a year. The whole country felt sorry for its beloved singer and tried to support him during that difficult period. Jose Carreras managed to survive and decided to arrange a fund which provides financial support to researches and experiments aimed on treating this disease. He forwards incomes and profits from his annual concerts to Jose Carreras International Leukaemia Foundation.
