In Pokljuka Garanichev won bronze in the sprint
In Slovenian Pokljuka started the third stage of World Cup Biathlon. In the starting phase of the sprint race succeeded Russian biathletes. On the podium Evgeny Garanichev company made German biathletes Simon Shemp, who won the race and the runner-up - the Norwegian Ole Einar Bjoerndalen.

It is worth noting that other Russian biathletes have also shown good results in the sprint. Alex Slepov with zeros on the shooting took fourth place.

Anton Shipulin with one penalty was sixth in the final report. Never Overshot Alexey Volkov closed the top ten. Maxim Tsvetkov 12th, Dmitry Malyshko - 37th.
