Huawei today presented the first commercial 5G device. With the help of the Balong 5000 chipset, the world's fastest wireless connection for the smartphone, in the home, at the office and on the go, is now within reach. The Balong 5000 chipset that makes it technically possible, officially unlocks the 5G era. On a 5G network a 1GB HD video can be downloaded in three seconds and 8K videos can be streamed easily without hesitation. Consumers with a cable connection usually have 100 or 200 Mbit connections. The wireless 5G CPE Pro, which connects to a 5G network in a mast, achieves speeds of 3.2 Gbps. In the case of a 100 Mbit connection, this is 32 times faster. During the Mobile World Congress next month in Barcelona, Huawei presents the first 5G smartphones. | |
