Head SK the Russian Federation suggested to consider the falsification of the history of extremism
The head of the Investigative Committee Alexander Bastrykin, in his article for the famous publication stated that the falsification of history in our country must be equated to extremism. According to him, criminal liability for the denial or falsification of the most important state of events is quite common practice around the world.

It is reported that the initiative Bastrykin suggests amendments in article of the Criminal code on public appeals to extremist activity, namely, to add to it a paragraph about the falsification of historical facts. In particular, the head of the RF IC noted that extremism should be considered a denial of the results of the referendum in Crimea, which became the act of will of the population of the Peninsula.

Alexander Bastrykin reminded that not only in our country but in many others there is already a punishment for propaganda of fascism. And in some States, including France, the responsibility for denying the Armenian genocide.
