Guberniya smashed Gazprom-Yugra

Nizhny Novgorod volleyball team will play against Dynamo Moscow in their next match.

Guberniya Nizhny Novgorod has won in its home match against Gazprom-Yugra in the 6th round of Russian volleyball championship. The final score was 3:0 (25:23, 26:24, 25:18).

Voronkov, Sychev and Savin were the most valuable players in Nizhny Novgorod team. This victory made it possible for Guberniya to go up in the overall standings and take 8th position in the table of Russian Super League.

Manager of Nizhny Novgorod team Plamen Konstantinov said that his was absolutely satisfied with his players and their cooperation on the pitch. Concentration and responsible attitude to every moment made it possible for them to win in that match. He noted also that victory in first two periods was not only due to luck but also to great finish.

Players from Nizhny Novgorod will meet with Dynamo Moscow in their next match. The game will start at 6 p.m. on the 1sy of November.
