Great Mosque has been opened in Dzershinsk, Russia

Great Mosque has been opened in Dzershinsk on the last week-end. This information is available on the official website of Spiritual Administration of Muslims. Valery Shantsev has also taken part in in the opening event together with Chairman of the Russian Muftis Council Ravil Giynutdin.

This event is rather important. It took 10 years to build this mosque. Construction was held with the help of donations from residents of Nizhny Novgorod and other regions. At the same time some donations were made by Metropolitan of Nizhny Novgorod.

“Temple is not only a place for religious rites. It is also a source of spiritual perfection and enlightening. We highly appreciate Muslims’ activity in Nizhny Novgorod region for their contribution in social and economic development of our regions” – noted Valery Shantsev.
