Government expertise approved of stadium project in Nizhny Novgorod, Russia

Government expertise has given a positive respond regarding the project of stadium construction. New arena will be located in Strelka district. This information was provided by Valery Shantsev during his meeting with local authorities. New arena must be built and commissioned before FIFA World Cup starts.

It is also known that results of survey and project works are expected. Building company will make all preparation works in the end of April. In spite of the fact that government expertise has approved of this project, Nizhny Novgorod can be left without FIFA World Cup 2018. This is due to new requirements from FIFA. That is why there is still possibility of cities’ reduction which accept the upcoming tournament.

We should note that new arena in Nizhny Novgorod will be able to provide 45 thousand seats. It can approximately be located on Sovnarkomovskaya, Samarkandskaya streets of on the bank of Volga.
