It turns out that the gas production of Gazprom can grow by 5.5% in comparison with the previous year. According to the forecast of Gazprom that in general, the Russian production of "blue fuel" will be 656,8 billion cubic meters. In 2016, the figure was 636,4 billion cubic meters. In April this year, the Deputy Chairman of Gazprom Vitaly Markelov in an interview with the corporate journal of the company said that in 2017 the company plans to increase gas production by 2.7% compared with last year, to 430,44 billion cubic meters. Also, Gazprom has declared that growth of gas reserves in 2017 will be 469,6 billion cubic meters.
