In this period, one liter of gasoline in the United States was worth 0.68 dollar - as much in Russia. The price of one us gallon (3.79 liters) in the US was 2.57 dollar, and in Russia - 2.58 dollar. In the fourth quarter of last year, gasoline was cheaper in Russia - 2.36 dollars per U.S. gallon in the U.S. - 2.54 dollar.

The ranking of countries with the cheapest petrol came in 61 countries. Russia in this list took 11 th place, USA - 10-E. the lowest prices were recorded in Venezuela, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Egypt and Kuwait.

According to Bloomberg, a two-year recession in Russia this year can end. According to analysts of the Agency, the support of the country has been rising oil prices and the election to U.S. President, who can be more friendly towards Moscow.
