Foreigners are not allowed participating in Russian Meetings and Demonstrations
Foreign citizens will not be allowed taking part in meetings and demonstrations which take place on the territory of Russian federation. Such resolution was offered by State Duma Deputy Evgeny Fedorov. He offers to limit access of foreign citizens to Russian demonstrations, meetings and other actions which include many people on the territory of Russian Federation.

It is noted that such resolution has been worked out in order to increase the level of public safety. At the same time it will let government create necessary conditions to follow all rights and freedoms of Russian citizens according to existing constitution. In addition such measures will help to prevent any kinds of provocations during demonstrations and meetings. Actions also include marches and pickets. Foreigners who do not have Russian citizens will not be allowed taking part in such events.

Explanation note says that this resolution will come into force in order to limit foreign citizens in their expression of opinions which may have a bad influence. At the same time this will also prevent foreigners from establishing their requirements and demands related to economic, political, social and cultural aspects of the country as well as questions connected with foreign policy of Russian federation.

At the same time some experts say that it will be rather hard to follow this law as it is practically impossible to check citizenship of all participants of mass demonstrations and meetings.
