Fatal Overtake: 2 People Died and 3 Injured

Fatal accident took place on Saturday March 28th in Urensky district, Nizhny Novgorod region. Two people died and three were injured in a car accident. Nizhny Novgorod region Police Department reported about incident which took place on 201st kilometer of highway between Nizhny Novgorod and Kirov.

According to preliminary information 29-year old woman driver of Chevrolet Aveo got to the opposite lane during an overtake. She was not able to see oncoming Lada Priora and collided with another car. Woman was seriously injured as well as driver and passengers of another vehicle. 56-year old man and 45-yearold woman died at the accident scene. Three other victims of this horrible crash were immediately taken to the hospital with numerous serious wounds and injuries.

Driver of Chevrolet Aveo is supposed to be guilty of this accident. She has 5-year driving experience while driver of another vehicle had 36-year driving experience. Police is looking into this case at the moment in order to find out all the consequences of the tragedy. There is a possibility of initiating criminal case.

Representatives of local Traffic Police Department ask all drivers to follow all traffic rules without any exception in order to prevent such fatal incidents, victims and injuries. Drivers are supposed to choose the most appropriate distance between forward going vehicles as well as choose appropriate areas for overtaking which are allowed by traffic rules. This also includes following all road signs and instruction.
