Famous Nizhny Novgorod writer Zahar Prilepin managed to get in top-100 of the most reputable people in Russia. This rating has been created by experts of popular “Russian reporter” magazine. At the same time this rating has also been published on the official website of the magazine. The main reason why Prilepin got to this rating is the fact that he travelled to war zone on the East of Ukraine on his own and wrote his notes which described the situation in the most impersonal way. Experts say that this fact makes him different from all the rest of writers who are also trying to highlight the situation in the region. It should also be noted that the list of the most reputable authors of 2014 also includes such writers as Victor An, Alexey Chaly, Henry Reznik, Dmitry Rogozin, Ramzan Kadyrov, Sergey Lavrov, Pavel Durov, Alexander Ovechkin, Dmitry Nagiev, Andrey Makarevich and many other Russian authors who were acting in a very strong manner. Zahar Prilepin is a Russian writer and publicist who is famous for such novels as “Pathology”, “Sin” and other books that have been published thorough his career. He used to be a captain of O.M.O.N. division and took part in Chechen campaign in 1996-1999. He is also a member of unregistered “Drugaya Rossiya” party.
