Exhibitions of Famous Modern Photographers are opened in Moscow Multimedia Art Museum
Three different exhibitions are available for all visitors of Art Museum. They will be opened till 5th of April. All guests will have a chance to get acquainted with works of such popular Italian fashion-photographer as Gian Paolo Barbieri. He has already won a lot of different prestigious international awards.

His works are published in world’s famous fashion magazines which include Vogue Italia, Vogue Paris, Vanity Fair, GQ and many others. For more than 40 years Barbieri’s name is associated with the most popular and reputable designer houses such as Yves Saint Laurent, Valentino, Armani, Versace, Gianfranco Ferre, Vivienne Westwood and others. The exhibition is called “Fashion and Fiction”.

Another interesting exhibition will be available from 12th of February till 12th of March introducing works of another legendary French photographer Robert Doisneau. The exhibition is called “Everyday Beauty”.

This master of photography is well-known to the public as the author of legendary and probably one of the most his popular works which is called “Le baiser de l'hôtel de ville” (The Kiss). It has become extremely popular in the end of 80’s providing society with lots of fuzz and different rumors. One pair decided to initiate a case in court telling everyone that they are displayed on this photo. However Doisneau successfully won this case.

The third exhibition is opened starting from the 1st of March. It is a personal exhibition of world’s famous photographer Albert Watson. He made lots of images of celebrities and famous people as well as worked with popular fashion magazines.

He became rather famous due to his work which turned out to be starting point in his career. That was the portrait of Alfred Hitchcock. The portrait contained style of Hitchcock’s movies:  

“I was deeply nervous. This photo was supposed to be published in Christmas edition of a famous fashion magazine along with recipe of Christmas duck. It was my idea to hold her that way. This reflects the spirit of Alfred, when someone is being strangled”, -said the author.
