Exhibition of Matrioshkas was opened in Nizhny Novgorod
Matrioshka exhibition has been opened yesterday in Dobrolyubov museum of Nizhny Novgorod at 4 p.m. Visitors and guests got a chance to see works of a famous Russian artist Tamara Koryeva. The event was called “Matrioshka that is my destiny”. The official information is available on the website of museum.

In accordance with available information the exposition is devoted to 50th anniversary of famous artist. At the same time it was also her 30th anniversary of working in this field. The exhibition includes her late works as well as retrospectives of toys from different periods of time created by Koryeva.

Moreover visitors of this event were able to see decorative graphics of other popular Russian artists such as Sergey and Natalya Lvach.

Guests of the exhibition got a chance to take part in professional classes and see great performance of Matrioshkas.
Interesting information

Tamara Koryeva was born on 20th of November 1964 in Semenov, Nizhny Novgorod region. She is also a hereditary artist of local folk painting. She has successfully graduated from Engineering Technical and Building University and got an occupation of architect. She has worked as an artist on a local factory and decorated wooden toys and souvenirs for a long time. Now she is the Head Artist of the factory which is located in Semenov.
