Exhibition of Famous Russian Artist Viktor Storozhev is opened in Nizhny Novgorod
Personal exhibition of Viktor Storozhev will be opened today on the 22nd of October in Nizhny Novgorod. It will take place in State Exhibition Complex. The event is dedicated to the 65th anniversary of famous Russian artist.

Viktor Storozhev is a theater artist who paints in different styles. They include easel painting as well as other techniques which are related to monumental and decorative art. This is the first personal exhibition of the artist that will take place in State Exhibition Center. More than 100 works will be displayed there.

Visitors of the event will have a chance to get acquainted with different styles and techniques which are used for creation of different scenic images that are used by the author. Mystery spaces of Russian fairy tales are reflected in all paintings of Viktor Storozhev. For example, he stresses toy qualities of Vinnie the Pooh and pays attention of spectators to plastics that are used in a play called “The Lookout”. At the same time he tries to introduce romantic atmosphere and exotic charm of the Eastern Drama.

The exhibition will be opened at 4 p.m.

Interesting information

Viktor Storozhev was born in Alma-Ata region. He has already taken part in numerous regional, international and all-Russian and Soviet exhibitions. He is a member of Russian Artists Union. Viktor is also a talented painter and designer. Now he is Assistant Professor in Design.
