Europol is going to train agents with a game to trace crypto coins
Europol is going to teach agents with a game how to do better research into crypto currency, such as bitcoin. Europol presented its plans at a conference.

The game must teach agents how to track digital money. This is an increasingly important part of their work and through the game, agents can gain experience in a safe environment with how crypto currencies work.

Criminals use crypto currency to trade online. The digital money is difficult to trace because it is exchanged via a decentralized network. There is therefore no bank in which the police or Europol can turn to request information.

Europol has not released any details about the game.
