According to information provided by Police Department of Nizhny Novgorod 87-year old pensioners had a very serious operation at the end of 2014. Once he received a call from unknown man who offered unique equipment for rent. He also said that this equipment is extremely expensive. It costs about $340 000. It is obvious that old disabled man can’t afford such purchase. That is why unknown guest offered this equipment for rent. He persuaded pensioner that it will be less expensive. Old man decided to pay for the treatment course and gave $1 900 for the rent. The other day the same man called and offered disabled pensioner to purchase rare medication for only $1 000. 87-year old citizen of Nizhny Novgorod agreed. However he also decided to contact his health care provider in order to get consultation. His doctor recommended turning to police.

Now investigators are looking for a group of scammer and remind citizens not to agree on any kind of offers as well as financial transactions which do not guarantee any result.

“Before you agree, consult your relatives and friends. If you have any suspicions about future transaction or purchase, avoid transferring large sums of money. Do not hesitate and turn to police immediately as soon as you feel that you are being cheated”.
