CTP Insurance can be increased by Quarter

CTP insurance tariffs should be increased by quarter in April 2015. This fact results in increase of health and life insurance payments. They have already reached $8 500 level. New base tariffs have been established on the 1st of October 2014. In according with those tariffs individual has to pay $40 in case he drives auto.

At the same time the Head of Russian Auto Insurance Union Igor Bunin said that it is necessary to increase those tariffs up to 65%: “Such measures should be taken considering the fact that that in accordance with changes that have been made in particular law, the level of deterioration has been reduced from 80% to 50%. This also includes changes in limits connected with life and health insurance payments as well as compensation of auto freight cost loss”, - said Bunin.

Moreover Bunin decided to leave his position of Head of the Insurance Union in favor of Igor Yurgens who is also in charge of the Insurance Union.
