Crypto-exchanger Poloniex announced the reduction of trade commissions on May 15
The news portal forklog.com reports that one of the most famous American crypto-exchange exchanges - Poloniex informed its users about the reduction from May 15 commission for its traders, as well as other changes that will occur in their charges.

The first change will concern the calculation period of commissions, they will be taken on a 30-day volume of stock transactions, and the amount will be added in US dollars, not in bitcoins, as before. This measure is likely due to the high volatility of the cost of bitcoins, so the exchange has provided its traders with the ability to conduct settlements in a more stable and predictable currency. It is worth noting that Poloniex is still exclusively a crypto exchange.

The second change concerns the size of commissions, which will be reduced from May 15. Now the "beneficiary commission" will be 0.2%, and the "maker fee" - 0.1%. The third change is a cut-off at a discount, now with a 30-day trading volume of 7.5 million dollars, the makers will receive zero commissions, with a transaction volume of $ 30 million they will receive a commission of 0.1%.
