Citizens of Nizhny Novgorod will have a chance to visit Two Concerts of Contemporary Classic Music
Citizens of Nizhny Novgorod will have a chance to visit two Concerts of contemporary classic music. Both performances are aimed on popularizing this interesting musical style among people. This is another stage of the project that is called “Horizon”. Natalya Pshenichnikova and soloists of Moscow Contemporary Music Ensemble will perform during these concerts. Both events will be held with support of German Goethe Cultural Center and Russian Ministry of Culture.

These concerts will take place not only in Nizhny Novgorod but also on Moscow and Voronezh. The most famous and important person for the “Horizon” project is popular German composer and pianist Christoph Staude. He will arrange special professional classes for all visitors of the concert. At the same time he will answer all questions about development of contemporary classic music.

First of all, citizens and guests will have a chance to visit both concerts on 27th of October. It will be arranged local Sivuhin Chore College. The show will start at 7 p.m. Those who are not able to visit performances this day will get another opportunity on 28th of October. The concerts will start at 1:20 p.m. in Balakirev Musical College.

Interesting information

Christoph Staude was born in 1965 in Munich. He studied in Berlin and Frankfurt Conservatories. In addition he has a lot of important and valuable awards in different competitions of composers and musicians. He also managed to win in a competition of young talents in Stuttgart, Turin, Koln and many other European competitions including Trio Basso. He has been awarded by German Folklore Fund and got Berlin Academy of Arts prize.
