Children over 3 will enter kindergartens next year in Nizhny Novgorod, Russia
Pre-school education will be available for all children over 3 years old starting from the 1st of January 2016. This information has been announced by the Head of Regional Educational Department Sergey Naumov during regional Pedagogical Conference.

The Official said that local authorities have already worked out a special program. Its overall financial volume is more than 6 billion rubles. This program will create additional 14 208 free places for children in regional kindergartens. 42 municipal ad city districts are included in this program.

Naumov paid attention to the fact that 17 new objects have been already commissioned this year. It helped to provide pre-school education to 90.2% of children over 3 years old. The average rate is 86%.

Summing up, the Minister stressed that new federal pre-school educational standards will be implemented by the 1st of January. They will make pre-school education available to every child who is over 3.

It should be noted that 1 359 pre-school educational institutions are operating on the territory of Nizhny Novgorod region.
