Cat saved a Baby

Cat named Masha saved a baby in Obninsk, Kaluga region. A baby was left abandoned in the box right on the street in spite of freezing weather.

Masha has been warming baby for several hours. Local citizens said that cat was trying to attract attention of people making loud noise. Luckily, caring mother and her new baby were spotted by people who live in the house located near the scene. Fortunately, there were no any signs of overcooling and 2-month baby was absolutely fine thanks to the cat.

Doctors said that Masha was so worried about future destiny and health of the child that it followed the ambulance sometime.

Policemen are looking for parents of the baby at the moment.

Masha was rewarded with her favorite food. Moreover some citizens expressed their wish to take the animal at home. However nothing is known about future destiny of the cat.

It should also be noted that all local media services, newspapers and TV channels described this impressive feat. Masha became true legend and hero. Moreover this occasion has also been described by such popular foreign newspapers as The New York Post, Washington Post, Mirror and others. At the same time the information is also available in Facebook. Some subscribers were even ready to adopt stranded baby.
