In St. Petersburg will use blockchain in order to prevent the facts of reselling recipes. It is assumed that the technology will not allow using a counterfeit form for obtaining medicines. Also electronic documents once and for all will solve the problem of incorrect reading: now doctors can be easily disassembled even for those who do not have medical education. It is already known that the citizen will be able to pick up the necessary drug by electronic prescription in any pharmacy that is connected to the storage on the blockchain. The unique number of the form will allow the patient to get information about how and from where the medicines arrived at this point. It is worth noting that similar experience in the use of blockchain in the health care system already has Novgorod region. It was here that the pilot project using this technology was implemented. This mechanism helps to combine data on patients from different institutions working in the region. To prescribe to patients in the city on the Neva electronic prescriptions allowed amendments to the law "On the fundamentals of organizing the protection of citizens' health in St. Petersburg". It is expected that the new system will begin operating in the Northern capital in the next year. | |
