Anyone wishing to open an account and start trading on the world's largest crypto exchange Bitfinex (Hong Kong) must now provide an invitation code upon registration, the online edition of Coinfox informs.
Users paid attention to the new requirement when registering for Bitfinex: in addition to the usual data, the site now requires an individual invitation code to open a new account, explaining this with "extraordinary demand." It does not specify where and how to get this code, and in general, the exchange has made no official statements about new rules for registering users.
Users who could not register for Bitfinex, try to learn how to get the invitation code, on the forums, some even are ready to buy it. However, already registered users of the exchange assure that in their offices no such laws are indicated.
Observers point out that the Bitfinex site has recently often experienced problems with connecting users and failures in the trading platform, including due to cyber attacks. |
