Belarus is not ready to repay the debt for gas to Russia
Russia and Belarus have finished negotiations on gas, said the head of the Ministry of energy Alexander Novak. As it became known, the parties were unable to negotiate a settlement of the conflict.

According to the Minister of energy, Minsk is not ready to repay existing debt for gas in the amount of $ 700 million. Alexander Novak explained that the Belarusian side is interested in providing significant preferences from Russia and on terms and price.

"Of course, we note not enough constructive position of the Belarusian side. Nevertheless, the negotiations continue, we didn't start this conflict, and we expect that the position of the Belarusian side will be more constructive," — said the Minister.

We will remind, the oil and gas dispute between the two States exists. Belarusian authorities considered the price for the supplied Russian gas is unreasonably high, so began to make him smaller amounts. It should be noted that the decision of Belarus to pay for Russian "blue fuel" less was taken unilaterally. Russia, in turn, reduced oil exports to the Republic.
