"In the framework of the development of the field Shah Deniz production is 10 billion cubic meters. Of these, 0.8 billion cubic meters supplied to Georgia, Turkey – 6.6 billion cubic meters. In addition, another 1.5 billion cubic meters of gas from Shah Deniz goes to the domestic market," said Samadzade, whose words are quoted by "APA-Economics". According to Samadzada, the total annual gas supplies to Tbilisi in the line SOCAR amount to approximately 1.2 billion cubic meters. In 2016, Azerbaijan produced more than 41 million tons of oil and 29.4 billion cubic meters of natural gas. Azerbaijani authorities for 2017 predicted oil production level 39796,9 thousand tons, and gas production is anticipated to decrease 28,39 billion cubic meters. In 2015 oil production in Azerbaijan amounted to 41 628,3 thousand tons, gas production was at the level of 29.17 billion cubic meters. The Azerbaijani state company SOCAR is involved in oil and gas production in offshore and onshore fields. |
