Anastasia Sedova from Nizhny Novgorod won Gold Medal on Russian Skiing Championship
Russian Skiing Championship started on March 11 in “Pearl of Siberia”, Tyumen. All participants are from 19 to 20 years old. This is junior contest for the best young sportsmen from all over Russia. Here they compete for the highest positions and medals.

The first day of the competition turned out to be very successful for Anastasia Sedova from Nizhny Novgorod. She won gold medal after taking first place on 10 km distance in individual race. She finished competition with final result 29 minutes 57 seconds. Men’s race was successful for Ilya Poroshkin from Komi Republic with final result 39minutes 19 seconds.

The program of the championship includes:

March 12 – freestyle individual spriny;
March 14 – freestyle individual race (5 and 10 km distance);
March 15 - 4х3 km and 4х5 km relays;
March 17 – 10 km and 20 km ski Athlon.
