Amazon comes with a wheeled robot for home use
Amazon has presented a robot on wheels called Astro. The robot can drive around the house to keep an eye on things, works with voice commands thanks to assistant Alexa, and can play music and TV shows.

Astro has two large wheels on the front and a small wheel on the back, which allows him to drive through the house and follow the user. On top is a rotating screen, which displays virtual eyes to give the robot a friendly and silly appearance. Other information can also be displayed on the screen.

Behind the screen, in the 'neck', a camera is placed that looks at and monitors the environment. The camera can extend vertically to capture even higher places.

Via an app people can remotely control the robot so that it makes a round of the house even when they are not at home. For early adopters, the robot costs 1,000 dollars. Later the price goes up to $1,450.
