OPEC members will definitely strike to the conditions of the agreement to cut the common output level reached in the end of September in Algiers, Algeria's Energy Minister Nouredine Bouterfa said on Sunday. The minister explained that the OPEC’s technical committee is working on the application of the deal at the moment. "There will be no return on the Algiers agreement. Now, we are in application of this agreement. The high-level technical committee is working on it. The Algiers agreement has not been called into question," Bouterfa said, according to state news agency APS. The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries is to meet in the headquarters in Vienna November 30. It is expected that non-OPEC members may join the negotiations to limit total oil production. A few days ago Reuters informed that the success of the deal is under a threat because of clashes between Iran and Saudi Arabia. According to some sources, Saudis could raise oil output steeply to bring prices down if Tehran refuses to limit its supply. |
