Alexander Horoshilov won Gold Medal in Slalom
Another stage of Skiing World Cup is taking place in Schladming, Austria. Russian Skier Alexander Horoshilov managed to win his first gold medal in career. This is also the first golden award in history of Russian slalom. Other gold medals have been won during times when Soviet Inion existed.

Two attempts made it possible for the sportsman to show first result which is 1 minute 46.39 seconds. Italian skier Stefano Gross took the second place with +1.44 result while 3rd position was for German sportsman Felix Noyroyter with +1.51 result.

This is the second podium for Alexander Horoshilov in his sports career. He already won a bronze medal during one of the World Cup stages in 2014 which took place in Or, Sweden.

Skiing World Cup stage in Schladming is the final lag of competitions before the start of the World Skiing Championship. It will take place from 2nd to 15th of February in Colorado, USA.
