Activists of Young Guard movement have arranged a special action on the 9th of October. This action was aimed on eliminating and wiping off all paintings which are related to Nazi and extremists symbols which can be found in public transport and on walls of buildings. Activists found more than 15 such paintings. The information is provided by the official website of the movement. The Head of Nizhny Novgorod Department of Young Guard Kirill Kartashev noted that Russia suffered the most from Nazi and Fascism in comparison with other countries. Unfortunately there can still be found symbols related to racism and extremism. It is necessary for young generation to prevent those horrible events in modern life by all means. Such actions have been arranged in several cities of Russian federation. All of them are a part of International Day against Fascism, Racism and Extremism. 9th of November is International Day against Fascism, Racism and Extremism. This is the time when massive persecutions of Jewish started in 1938 in Germany. This was the starting point of The Holocaust which included massive violence to all Jewish people which resulted in 6 000 000 victims. |
