The Head of Construction department in Nizhny Novgorod Yuri Scheglov said that 5 new blocks of flats will be put into operation in accordance with “Wave Resettlement” program in 2014. Such statement has been made during the governmental meeting. Citizens from dilapidated housing will get a chance to move to new apartments which are located in Kuznechihin district (120 flats), on Marshall Kazakov street (607 flats) and on crossing of Delovaya and Rodionov streets (126 flats). The official also noted that 8 additional blocks of flats will also be commissioned in 2015. Construction of new objects will be launched in October 2014. Overall citizens from 200 old houses will get new accommodation. This is more than 70% of all dilapidated housing in the central part of the city. The Head of City Administration Oleg Kondrashev stressed that people from 702 dilapidated flats have been provided with new accommodation in 2014. It is planned to resettle citizens from 102 thousand living square meters more in 2015. New modern blocks of flats will be built instead of dilapidated housing. |
