The share of gasified houses has become twice higher over the last 8 years in Nizhny Novgorod region. Now it is 84.5%. The information was provided by Letnews.ru. 7 500 kilometers of pipelines have been built in the region.

About 500 kilometers of new pipelines is annually built in accordance with gasification program. Gas is available for 46 of 52 districts. The most attention is paid to northern territories.

“For example, about 1 400 buildings are still not gasified in Krasnye Baki at the moment. I have already ordered to continue gasification process of the northern district. We still have to plan the budget and construction works will be launched in the beginning of April. We need to be rather careful while planning financing of this program. We need to solve the most important problems firs,” – stressed the Governor of Nizhny Novgorod region Valery Shantsev.

The level of gasification determines the overall development of every district. At the same time a lot of attention must be paid to construction of new building and diminishing of emergency homes. For example, 3 new blocks of flats have been built in Krasnobakovsky district. 29 families live there. These blocks of flats are equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable living. At the same time there are still lots of emergency homes without gas and heating. 17 thousand citizens of Nizhny Novgorod region will be able to move to new apartments during the next three years.
